Previously, he worked as a senior equity research analyst for Tradepedia, a financial and economic research company in Dubai, and a chief FX strategist for Caveo Financial Brokerage in Kuwait, where he analysed financial markets and the performance of investment portfolios.

In his first job as a senior market research analyst for the Egyptian company Arabic Trader, Fathy conducted financial and business research, trained dealers on the financial markets, prepared educational materials on the sector, and contributed to the development of an automated trading system.

Mohamed Fathy authored the book ‘Alforex Khatwah Be-Khatwah’, one of the bestselling forex trading guides in Arabic. He holds a BA in Accounting and Public Finance from Cairo University
